Dufry secures duty-free joint venture contract at Bengaluru Airport

Dufry, who has operated duty-free shops at Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (KIAB) since 2008 through its subsidiary Nuance, has secured an additional 15-year contract to operate and manage duty-free outlets in the airport’s new Terminal 2. Dufry will be operating these new outlets in a 50:50 Joint Venture with airport operator Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL).

Results of Extraordinary General Meeting of Dufry AG on August 31, 2022

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Dufry AG was held at the offices of Dufry AG at Brunngässlein 12, 4052 Basel, Switzerland, on August 31, 2022 at 17:30 hrs. The meeting was held without the presence of shareholders based on Article 27 of the Ordinance 3 issued by the Swiss Federal Council on measures to prevent coronavirus (COVID-19) of June 19, 2020. The total number of shares represented at the meeting amounted to 54,006,166 shares (corresponding to 59.48% of the total share capital of Dufry AG); the meeting was validly convened and constituted. The Shareholders resolved as follows:

Dufry extends its duty-free and duty-paid contracts at Belo Horizonte International Airport in Brazil

Dufry is pleased to confirm that it has extended its current duty-free contract at Belo Horizonte International Airport in Confins, operated by a partnership of CCR and Zurich Airport, for a further two years, through to 2029. In addition, a ten year contract has been awarded enabling Dufry to continue to operate its current portfolio of four duty-paid stores, including the Dufry Shopping and Hudson concepts and to also build a further three new duty-paid stores, one of which will be a 670 m² walkthrough store.
