Avolta’s Journey For Good Foundation, the charitable arm of Avolta in North America, has awarded $820,000 to 39 charitable organizations as part of its second 2026 grant cycle. The grants will support initiatives focused on food insecurity, housing stability, education, workforce development, and services for veterans and vulnerable populations. This announcement follows its first grant cycle of 2026, which awarded $540,000 to 22 charities.
“Strong communities are built when people have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive,” said Journey For Good Foundation Chairman Steve Johnson. “These organizations are tackling some of the most pressing challenges facing individuals and families and we are proud to invest in programs that create meaningful, lasting change. We are grateful for the generosity of travelers and the dedication of Avolta team members and partners who continue to champion our mission.”
Funding for the Foundation’s grants comes from voluntary traveler donations at participating duty-free, convenience, and dining locations operated by Dufry, Hudson, and HMSHost throughout North America, as well as through Journey For Good Foundation fundraising program, including its annual charity golf tournament and other special events. In addition, Avolta supports the Foundation through employee leadership, expertise and operational resources, helping expand its reach and impact.

The Foundation’s work is part of Avolta’s commitment to supporting local communities. Across North America, team members contribute through volunteering, fundraising, food donation programs and mentorship initiatives, reflecting Avolta's wider focus on creating positive social impact in the communities where it operates. This complements Avolta’s broader global community engagement efforts focused on education, healthcare support, vulnerable groups, food security and environmental initiatives.
