Avolta Celebrates Multiple Honors at the 2025 Frontier Awards

Avolta is proud to announce a series of prestigious wins at this year’s Frontier Awards, covering three key pillars of people, innovation and sustainability. This industry-wide endorsement underscores Avolta’s leadership in redefining the travel experience and shaping the future of travel retail and F&B.

The awards across various categories reflect how Avolta’s Destination 2027 strategy is being successfully brought to life across the company’s global presence.

The following Frontier Awards were won by Avolta in 2025:

  • Club Avolta received the Future of Retail Award for its loyalty program, recognized for its digital-first approach and strong focus on enhancing the customer experience through personalized engagement and seamless integration.
  • Best Specialty Concept (Retail) was awarded to Avolta’s Presentedby, the trailblazing sneaker and streetwear store at Zayed International Airport. Recognized for its pioneering approach to innovation, sustainability, and customer engagement, the concept has redefined what modern travel retail can be.
  • Influential Woman in Travel Retail Award – Winner: Isabel Zarza. Working in the company for more than 20 years, and active in the industry, Isabel is currently responsible for Avolta’s Southern Europe Business Unit and was recognized as one of the most influential figures in the Global Travel Retail industry.
  • People & Planet Award: Diversity & Inclusion ChampionWinner: Avolta’s CTA Program in Guarulhos and Galeao airports. Avolta has supported the CTA program since 1995, a free professional education initiative that equips young people near major Brazilian airports with skills for employment together with interpersonal skills, significantly boosting confidence and changing lives.
  • Team of the YearWinner: Avolta Spain team: successfully transformed over 60,000m2 of retail space without disrupting operations, introduced innovative formats, new brands and regionally tailored strategies, launched pioneering digital and F&B concepts, and simultaneously supported local communities, while promoting employee well-being.
