Avolta expands presence at Bristol Airport with opening of first F&B operation

Avolta has officially opened Alembic, its first food & beverage operation at Bristol Airport, marking a new chapter in the company’s long-standing partnership with the airport.

The new opening builds on Avolta’s existing footprint at Bristol Airport, where it already operates retail outlets. The addition of Alembic reflects the company’s strategy to offer an integrated mix of retail and F&B experiences at key airport locations, combining the strengths of its global portfolio under one roof.

One of Avolta’s newest premium restaurant concepts, and its second location following its successful debut at East Midlands airport earlier this year, Alembic is designed to deliver a memorable, high-quality dining experience for travelers. With a Mediterranean-inspired menu built around the best seasonal ingredients, Alembic offers fresh, flavorful dishes served throughout the day. The drinks menu showcases the richness of local sourcing, with craft coffee, spirits, and cocktails featuring products from regional producers, including rum, gin, whisky, and more.

Beth Brewster, Senior Coordinating Director F&B & Essentials UK, Avolta, commented: “We’re proud to expand our partnership with Bristol Airport with the launch of Alembic, our first F&B operation at this location. Alembic represents everything we stand for at Avolta: creating enriching, seamless experiences that delight travelers and strengthen our partnerships with airports. We look forward to welcoming guests and sharing this exciting new concept with everyone flying through Bristol.”

Kate Gwyther, Head of Retail for Bristol Airport, said: “We are delighted to welcome Avolta to Bristol Airport and to officially open Alembic, which is already proving a popular choice with customers, as it’s offering something a little bit different with its Mediterranean inspired menu. It also serves more traditional breakfasts and plant-based options. Customers can also enjoy a wide range of locally sourced drinks including coffee and seasonally inspired mocktails and cocktails, as well as classic favourites, in an inviting environment.”
