    Avolta wins new 6-year duty-paid contract at Maceió-Zumbi dos Palmares International Airport in Brazil

    Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL) is delighted to announce a new six year contract at Brazil’s Maceió-Zumbi dos Palmares airport to operate a 170m² duty paid store. An international gateway to vibrant tourist destinations and historic cities, the airport attracts over 2.5 million passengers annually (2023 figures), and with the win of this duty paid contract in a new airport location, Avolta further extends its already significant footprint in Brazil.

    Avolta affirms partnership with Edinburgh Airport: 20+ years of operations strengthened by 7-year contract extension, grows floorspace by 30%

    Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL) has successfully extended its contract to operate the tax and duty free store at Edinburgh airport for an additional seven years. Strengthening the company’s 20+ years of operations at the same store, the contract win also represents an increase in retail space of 30%. Edinburgh airport is the busiest airport in Scotland, handling almost 15 million passengers each year (2019 figures), and an important driver for the Scottish economy thanks to its connectivity with other parts of the UK and internationally.

Following the earlier success of Eataly’s collaboration with the Autogrill Motorway business in Secchia Ovest in 2016, the partnership continues with a focus on strategic and heavily trafficked locations, offering travelers space to pause and experience quality food & beverages in an authentic setting.

    Avolta wins nine-year contract for 26 stores in Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen International Airport

    Leading global travel experience player Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL), is affirming and growing its presence in Türkiye. Recently confirming the award of a nine-year contract for 26 food & beverage (F&B) stores at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, Avolta is renewing its existing 22 F&B stores and introducing four additional F&B locations to the airport. The contract is a significant extension to the company’s existing partnership with the Malaysia Airport’s fully owned Turkish asset, and builds on an eleven-year F&B collaboration, as well as a long-standing travel retail partnership, which will run until 2032.
