    Dufry extends for ten years its duty-free concession at La Romana International Airport and Seaport in the Dominican Republic.

    Dufry, leading global travel retailer, has successfully extended for another 10 years its duty-free concession at La Romana Int. Airport & Seaport (AILR & CPLR) in the Dominican Republic, where it has been operating for more than 14 years. La Romana welcomes more than 700,000 passengers on both airport and seaport and caters for upscale private jets and golf players.

    Dufry reports acceleration on turnover and strong positive cash flow in Q3 2021

    Dufry’s third quarter 2021 was characterized by a re-bound of travel, predominantly in the Western hemisphere, with turnover at 55.6% of 2019 levels and reaching CHF 1,349.5 million for Q3 2021. Turnover for the nine-month period 2021 stood at CHF 2,536.8 million, plus 23.6% organic growth as compared to the same period 2020. The Group reported a strong positive Q3 Equity Free Cash Flow generation, and further upgraded the 2021 scenarios provided to the market.

    Dufry extends its Cambodia duty-free concession with three airports for five and a half years.

    Dufry, leading global travel retailer, has successfully extended for five and a half years its duty-free concession at Cambodia’s three international airports in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville, which in 2019 welcomed 11.6 million international travelers. The extended concession contract starts in October 2021 and covers departure and arrival duty-free shops at the Phnom Penh and Siem Reap hubs as well as the departure shop at the Sihanoukville airport with a total sales area of 2,680 m2, which Dufry has operated ever since 2003.

    Dufry renews its contract with Cardiff Airport for 12 years

    Dufry has successfully extended its contract to operate the tax and duty free store at Cardiff Airport in Wales for a further 12 years, following a successful partnership for the past 20 years. Cardiff Airport is the only major passenger Airport in Wales, and is an important driver for the Welsh economy through the connectivity it offers to other parts of the UK and internationally. In 2019 Cardiff Airport welcomed 1.6 million passengers.

Equity Free Cash Flow (EFCF) increased +14.6% to CHF 487m. A dividend of CHF 1.15/share, +15% YoY, is to be proposed at the May 2026 AGM. Avolta reaffirms its medium-term outlook and announces new a share buyback of up to CHF 225m in 2026.
